Last year I went to Comic-Con Calgary. It was gnarly as shit. Fellow nerds and social outcasts everywhere, I even got to meet Adam West and Robert Englund (Freddy Kruger).
Sadly last year I was broke so I didn't get too much stuff.
If I'm lucky I get to go this year and buy lots of stuff since the guests that are coming this year I don't give a rats ass about.
Nerd Powah!

f(x) = (h-l)H(x+1)+(r-h)H(x-1)+(l-w)H(x+3)+(w-r)H(x-3)+w (1) g(x) = 1/2[|1/2x|+sqrt(1-(||x|-2|-1)^2)-1/(112)(3sqrt(33)-7)x^2+3sqrt(1-(1/7x)^2)-3]×((x+4)/(|x+4|)-(x-4)/(|x-4|))-3sqrt(1-(1/7x)^2), (2)
where H(x) is the Heaviside step function and w = 3sqrt(1-(x/7)^2) (3) l = 1/2(x+3)-3/7sqrt(10)sqrt(4-(x+1)^2)+6/7sqrt(10) (4) h = 1/2[f(|x+1/2|+|x-1/2|+6)-11(x+3/4)+|x-3/4|] (5) r = 1/2(3-x)-3/7sqrt(10)sqrt(4-(x-1)^2)+6/7sqrt(10) (6)
(J. M.).
Its area can be computed exactly as A=(955)/(48)-2/7[2sqrt(33)+7pi+3sqrt(10)(pi-1)]+21[cos^(-1)(3/7)+cos^(-1)(4/7)].

Ya, I'm planning on going to Fan-con in Vancouver on April 20th or 21st. It should be pretty sweet. Stan Lee is supposed to be there, but I doubt I'll see him or even care. I want to go there for the swag and the people. Mingle with the cosplayers N shib.

I've been involved with most conventions in the province. I'm even part of the staff at one :3 Made a bunch of friends at one years ago, all people from all over Alberta. I only get to see some of them once or twice a year. But they're my closest friends!
I also like to cosplay and stuff.

Yea, I think it's pretty cool. Some people are pretty creative and have some pretty cool outfits they show up in. I've never actually been to a "Con" of any sort, but I've watched coverage of them and always wanted to go to one. I really hope there's some sweet ass Doctor Who shib there. It would be bad ass.

Not totally unrelated to cons, but I'm planning a pretty serious Hallowe'en costume build this year. I will keep you posted if I get it going.

At Hal-Con this year we will have the biggest names we have ever had. It's only our 3rd year of having a Con in the city though.
BILLY DEE WILLIAMS
Billy Dee Williams, An icon of not only Hollywood but also the African-American community, was a long anticipated and much needed addition to the cast of heroes in the STAR WARS universe.
GARRETT WANG
Garrett Wang was cast in the role of Harry Kim on “Star Trek Voyager.” In addition to being a series regular on Voyager, Garrett was named as one of People Magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People
J. AUGUST RICHARDS
J. August Richards was introduced to fans of “Angel” during the series’ first season the rogue, street-savvy vampire hunter Charles Gunn.
DAVID NYKL
David Nykl is known to science fiction fans as the recurring Stargate Atlantis character of Dr. Radek Zelenka, a Czech scientist on Earth’s expedition to the “lost city” of Atlantis.
RICHARD HATCH
Richard Hatch has enjoyed international recognition for more than three decades. He has starred in such series as The Streets of San Francisco for which he won Germany’s Bravo Award (the equivalent of an Emmy Award), Battlestar Galactica, for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe award
VIC MIGNOGNA Vic is currently playing roles in Tiger & Bunny, Digimon, Nura, Lagrange and several others. Vic has also voiced roles in a large number of video games including Soul Calibur, Disgaea, Dynasty Warriors, Persona III, Sonic Colours, DBZ, Bleach, FMA and more.
ROB DENBLEYKER
Rob DenBleyker is one of the leading voices of web comics today. Starting with his personal website Explosm.net in 2004 to showcase his comics along with co-creators Dave McElfatrick, Kris Wilson, and Matt Melvin, Rob built Cyanide and Happiness into one of the most recognized webcomics in the world.

The people at this years Comic-Con in Calgary doesn't seem to interest me. Stan Lee and Phil LaMarr are the only ones I would see.
I want to meet George Takei. That guy is awesome. Vic Mignonga I would also llike to meet.
If I do go to Calgary's Comic-Con I'll try to cosplay as Wreck-it-Ralph.

I've been going to anime & comic cons for awhile, love cosplaying & cosplayers by the way. I've also been volunteering there for awhile. I hate to say it though, I think I'm at that point where I'm going just to volunteer and not to enjoy the con. I can only look at stuff I can't afford and watch a bunch of cartoons silently with people so many times. The thing is, I really enjoy volunteering. For the kids n' stuff
